Week 8 - Red Letters: Make Disciples

Many Christians know the Great Commission but never live it out. This sermon unpacks how Jesus chose the unlikely, trained them through everyday life, and calls us to do the same: be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and join Him in His mission.

IMPACT CARD

Discussion Questions:

1) Read Matthew 28:18–20 together. What stands out to you most about Jesus’ command and His promise of presence? Why do you think many Christians know the Great Commission but struggle to actually live it out?

2. The sermon emphasized that discipleship begins with presence, not performance. Which of the practices (silence & solitude, prayer, Scripture, Sabbath, worship) is easiest for you right now, and which one is hardest?

3. Jesus forms us over time with new desires, new habits, and new character. Where have you seen slow, gradual transformation in your own life? And what area of your heart or habits do you sense Jesus inviting you to let Him shape next?

4. If discipleship happens “wherever we already are,” what is one practical way you can intentionally imitate Jesus and help form someone else in the coming week—at work, at home, on your team, or in your relationships?
