We all want peace, but are we willing to do what is necessary to receive it. True peace comes from one place: Humility. Peter and the Christmas Story show us how to have true peace.
MONDAY: Peace is easier to achieve when we slow down. Find a chunk of time away from noise and distractions, no matter how small, and give it to God. Whether it's in silence or prayer or reading, don't overcomplicate it! Every day this week, try to increase the time.
TUESDAY: One key to having peace is first having humility and realizing we're not in charge. What do you still need to "cast" onto God? 1 Peter 5:6-7
WEDNESDAY: Read what the Bible has to say about meditating on the Word of God. There is transforming power in Scripture, it can bring peace in our lives the more we "think on such things" Philippians 4:8
THURSDAY: Reread Peter's warning in 1 Peter 5:8-9 and stand firm in your faith. Consider a devotional plan like Battlefield of the Mind or something similar that can help you "stay on guard" against the enemy.
FRIDAY: Try the EnneaApp to find your Enneagram Score and do some soul searching. Knowing more about how you're wired can help steer and inspire your spiritual growth.
